LHS Theatre Presents I Never Saw Another Butterfly

On Friday, February 2, and Saturday, February 3, the Leavenworth High School Theatre Department proudly presents I Never Saw Another Butterfly by Celeste Raspanti. Set in Terezin during World War II, the play is based on the writings and drawings of the children who meet in an underground school as learning was not allowed by the Nazis. Due to the amazing talent of LHS theatre students, the show has been double cast with a Friday night cast and a separate Saturday night cast.
LHS Theatre is proud to pay tribute to those who serve by providing veterans and active military complementary tickets to both evenings of the show. A living museum will be offered both at preshow and during intermission.
With curtain at 7:00 p.m., admission is $4 for students, and $6 for adults. Due to mature content, the performance is best suited for students 12 and older.

LHS Alumni Association Updating Alumni Information

The LHS Alumni Association recently partnered with PCI (Publishing Concepts) to update its alumni contact information and produce a new alumni directory. PCI is located in Dallas, TX and Chesapeake, VA. They publish directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the nation. This project allows the LHS Alumni Association to receive important updates to its database so we know more about its alumni and how we can better serve them in the future.
Alumni should receive a postcard or email (based on last known data), which provides a phone number or link to call to update your information. You may provide, or keep private, any information you like.
At the end of the updating process, LHS alumni (only) will be able to purchase the directory. We are shooting for a launch of the new directory in the fall of 2018.
Please feel free to contact PCI customer service with any questions, at 1 (800) 982-1590, or locally, call Catey Edwards, Director of the Leavenworth Public Schools Education Foundation (sponsor organization of the LHS Alumni Association), at (913) 684-1400.
As always, "Once a Pioneer...always a Pioneer!"
