NEW CADET ACADEMY:
The LHS JROTC is running a New Cadet Academy. The goal of this activity is to give new cadets an introduction to the program and to begin the process of issuing their uniform. This will make their first week more enjoyable and will allow the battalion to complete inprocessing requirements faster.
The New Cadet Academy will occur on August 3rd from 8:00 to 11:00 am and from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the JROTC wing of the high school. Your cadet only has to attend one of these sessions. Cadets should dress casually, wear comfortable shoes (as they will learn basic drill and ceremony), and be prepared to try on uniforms.
Please RSVP and let LTC Hollister know which session your cadet will be attending, and provide their t-shirt size. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 913-684-1550 x 84004.
Pancake Breakfast this Saturday at Applebee's from 8-10 am, proceeds benefit the LHS Junior Guard Program and the Fisher House of St. Louis, an organization that provides housing tp wounded veterans and their families.
